Our Lecturers

 

Dr. Thorsten Dresing studied pedagogy and sociology at the University of Marburg and obtained his PhD there with the dissertation “Development and Evaluation of a Hybrid Online Seminar on Textual Analysis”.

He is CEO at dr. dresing & pehl GmbH – audiotranskription.de and develops the transcription and QDA software f4, f5 and f4analyse. He also works as a free-lance lecturer for qualitative social research and has been holding workshops on f4, MAXQDA, and qualitative research for 15 years.

Dr. Thomas Kollewe is a research assistant at Frankfurter Arbeitsstelle für Medizindidaktik (Research Group for the Didactics of Medicine) in the Department of Medical Studies at Goethe University in Frankfurt. He has been holding workshops on topics in empirical social research on a free-lance basis for many years.

Before his appointment at Frankfurt he was part of the Marburg Research Group for Methods & Evaluation (MAGMA) at the Institute of Educational Science at Phillips-University Marburg.

Thorsten Pehl studied pedagogy and psychology in Marburg and Halle (Saale). He is CEO at dr. dressing & pehl GmbH – audiotranskription.de and develops the transcription and QDA software f4, f5 and f4analyse.

He free-lances as lecturer for qualitative social research with a focus on qualitative content analysis and f4analyse.

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Seitter is a professor for Continuing Education at Philipps-University Marburg.

He has been holding regular interpretation workshops on the analysis of empirical-qualitative data for many years. He also advises a group of mostly externally funded doctoral students and has a lot of experience in acquiring and leading research projects. Dr. Sarah Weber studied ethnology, sociology, and historical anthropology in Freiburg i. Brsg. and holds a PhD from Ruhr-University Bochum. Her dissertation “Malta and the Boatpeople. An Ethnology of Intercultural Encounters” was awarded the dissertation prize in Cultural Studies 2013.
