I have followed the above instructions to transfer my microcassette interviews to mp3, but my trouble is that when I check the test files after recording, there are no human voices, just some static. I can hear the voices on the microcassette when I remove the cable, but they don't come through on the mp3 file recording. Any suggestions? Thank you!
