Methodological approaches can be explored particularly well in settings where specific materials, software, work steps, and open-ended questions can be discussed together.

In our webinars, presentations, and workshops, we draw on our experience in qualitative research, teaching research methods, transcription, and software development. This is not just a matter of using individual functions (including AI functions), but of integrating them into the research process: When does it make sense to use them? How are results reviewed? What needs to be documented? And what data may be processed, and under what conditions?

Webinars on AI & f4

In these free live webinars, we’ll demonstrate methods for qualitative analysis using f4 and explore the methodologically informed use of AI.

In addition to practical implementation, the focus is on how to interpret the results generated: How can AI-generated content be verified against the source material? How can decisions be documented in f4? And what data protection-related requirements need to be clarified in advance?

Presentations & Workshops

You can book a presentation on a topic such as “Is AI Transforming Qualitative Research?!”—which can be supplemented, if desired, by follow-up hands-on workshops (on hybrid interpretation, the local use of LLMs, and much more). In addition, we have been active for over 25 years as an independent provider of MAXQDA workshops at many graduate schools. It can be organized as a two-day in-person event or as four half-day webinar sessions. In addition to an introduction to MAXQDA and qualitative content analysis, the course covers mixed methods, the MAXQDA Tailwind and AI Assist AI features, visualizations, and much more.
