Text analysis and qualitative evaluation with f4

Import texts or automatically created transcripts and divide them into groups. Read your texts and write down interpretations, summaries or insights. Compare statements from different texts or groups and use them to create summaries or concepts. Finally, you can export your analysis clearly to Word or Excel and prepare it as a results report.

Make notes on text passages in memos or write comments on texts and codes. Write down case summaries, ideas, concepts, theoretical ideas, code definitions or interpretations.

Codes are the structuring system for your texts and memos. Whether developed inductively or deductively, the code system is clearly organized hierarchically. Codes can have different colors, with which the coded text passages are then underlined (possibly several times). Assigned text passages can then be easily displayed, compared or filtered according to context.

Display specific quotes from selected texts and codes. This allows you to see an overview of text passages or compare statements by certain people and groups. The lexical search also enables the quick listing and auto-coding of references including context.

Whether you are working on the same material in parallel or splitting up interviews, f4 can also be used to work in working groups. Your files with all memos and codes can be merged. This means that prepared code systems can also be easily distributed to everyone.
