Compare answers from groups

The table in f4analysis provides some quantified perspectives on the material. The figures displayed do not usually represent the final result. They help to develop hypotheses. It is something like a “hypothesis generation view”. This can be used to form groups or types, for more detailed topic descriptions, etc. Here we show an example of its use.
Compare absolute frequencies between groups
A look at the frequencies is often used to compare the response behavior of different groups. For example, you can look at the table with the question of how the texts of the interviewees from Hesse and Bavaria differ. In the table, click on the two groups and the codes that are of interest in the comparison. The table now shows how many text passages from the respective groups were assigned to this code. Here you may be able to guess differences in response behavior.
But beware! This is not the result, as the frequency only provides an initial rough guide. It is therefore important to take a closer look now: In comparison, the texts of the Hessians contain a particularly large number of text passages on the sub-item “Technology”? What’s going on? Call up the text content by clicking on the exciting numbers. Maybe even the statements of both groups next to each other, simply click on both numbers and the matching quotes will appear next to each other on the pinboard.
Read through them, compare and record the findings in the commentary for each group. And you can also easily access the pinboard by clicking on the pin symbol on the code.
