Free teaching licences, exercise materials and webinars
We offer support for lecturers free of charge:

185 days – free licences for lecturers

We will provide you with your own serial number for f4/f5 and f4analyse. Thus, you will have time to prepare yourself for teaching or to review your student’s results. Your serial number is valid for 6 months from activation.

20 days – free teaching licences

Your seminar participants would most likely prefer to work with f4/f5transkript and f4analyse on their own computer. We offer a free teaching licence for 20 days for all seminar participants. Usually, this is sufficient to transcribe and evaluate 1-2 interviews. The period of licence validity begins with entering the serial number for each participant individually.

Free manual as PDF

All seminar participants can download and use our manual “Interview, Transcription and Analysis” as a PDF document.

Free exercise material

We have selected sample data for you to use in teaching. One example is an exciting, one-minute video of a talk show. In a simple transcript, it reads like a conversation among friends. However, only when considering the original material the tensions become clear. This example allows drawing attention to the significance of transcription systems and methodological difficulties in transcribing. In addition, we provide matching exercises and guidelines for lecturers.

Free webinar for lecturers

On request, we can assist you to get trained for teaching f4analyse and we will share with you tips from our own teaching practice. As a lecturer, you can take part in our free webinar from the comfort of your own computer and via phone. In only 40 minutes, you will be able to learn how to use f4analyse and how to integrate it in teaching. Alternatively, we can arrange a free webinar for all participants of your course (if we can agree on a convenient appointment).

How to get your materials

Please send us a short e-mail indicating the name of your seminar and the number of participants. This enquiry is free of charge and without any further obligation. We look forward to hearing from you!
